Borage – Blue-Flowering Herb for Gardens

Borage (Borago officinalis) is an easy-to-grow and decorative herb with beautiful blue flowers that attract pollinators. The hairy leaves have a mild cucumber-like flavour and can be used in cucumber and potato salads, as well as summer drinks.

Sow outdoors in spring in rows. Avoid sowing too densely and thin the seedlings to about 30 cm apart. Borage grows quickly and is a good choice for natural-style gardens, herb gardens and pollinator-friendly planting.
