Bush Tomato ‘Maja’ – Compact Tomato for Pots and Balconies

Bush Tomato ‘Maja’ (Solanum lycopersicum) is a compact and productive tomato variety that produces plenty of sweet and juicy tomatoes. The fruits are around 5 cm in size, and the plant grows to only about 45 cm in height.

‘Maja’ is a bush tomato, so it does not require side shoot removal. This makes it especially easy to grow, even for beginner home gardeners. The variety is ideal for pots, balconies, terraces and small greenhouses.

Sow the seeds indoors in early spring at around 20 °C in a protected seed tray. Prick out the seedlings once and move them later into pots for growing on. The plant produces a generous harvest of small, sweet tomatoes throughout the growing season.
