Chili ‘Lemon Drop’ – Citrus Heat for Salsa and Ceviche

Chili ‘Lemon Drop’ (Capsicum baccatum), also known as Aji Limo, is a bright yellow Peruvian chili variety with a fresh, citrus-like flavour. The long, glossy fruits grow to about 6–8 cm and add a lively heat to food.

The strong, well-branched plants can produce a generous harvest. This variety flowers with attractive white blooms marked with yellow spots. Lemon Drop is especially well suited for salsa, ceviche, sauces and dishes where you want a bright, tangy heat.

The variety grows best in a warm location and is suitable for greenhouses, sheltered outdoor growing or large pots.
