Chili ‘Serrano’ – For Salsa, Guacamole and Fresh Heat

Chili ‘Serrano’ (Capsicum annuum) is a classic Mexican chili variety that is hotter than jalapeño, with a fresher flavour. The straight fruits grow to about 5–7 cm long and are juicy, crisp and full of aroma.

The chilies ripen from green to bright red and are especially well suited for fresh dishes such as salsa, guacamole and Mexican chili recipes.

Serrano forms a strong, well-branched plant that can produce a generous harvest. This variety is suitable for growing in a greenhouse, outdoors or in pots on a sunny balcony.
