Garlic Chives – Chinese Chives Seeds

Garlic chives, also known as Chinese chives (Allium tuberosum), is a perennial herb with a flavour that combines the aromas of chives and garlic. The plant grows vigorously and is well suited for both pots and outdoor growing.

Sow from early spring to autumn in rows or directly in a pot. After the second growing year, the plant can be cut back low to encourage stronger growth and harvests. Garlic chives are especially popular in Asian cooking, but they also work well as a seasoning for soups, sauces and many everyday dishes.
