A durable and easy-to-use rockwool-based growing medium for seed starting and hydroponic growing.

Herbova grow capsules are clean, formaldehyde-free rockwool products made from basalt-based mineral material. Modern binder technology makes the growing medium pleasant to handle and suitable for both germination and hydroponic growing.

Rockwool helps maintain even moisture and supports strong rooting for many common herbs, vegetables and edible plants.

The airy structure of the capsules supports root development: the roots receive oxygen, growth stays even and the plant can develop strongly. The grow capsules are suitable for many indoor gardens and hydroponic systems, including Plantui Smart Garden 3 / 6 and Bosch SmartGrow 3.

The capsules can be used as they are — no separate plastic holder is needed.

Tip

For larger seeds, such as basil, coriander, spinach or cress, the seed hole can be carefully widened if needed, for example with the tip of a screwdriver. This helps the seed sit better in the capsule and supports even germination.
