Rocket – Peppery Leaves for Salads and Pots

Rocket (Eruca sativa) is a fast-growing and strongly flavoured leafy vegetable that adds a peppery, slightly nutty note to salads. It is an excellent choice for home gardens, pots and balcony growing.

Sow the seeds directly outdoors or in a pot from early spring to autumn. Rocket also grows well on a balcony or windowsill. Harvest the leaves one by one, or cut the whole plant and allow it to regrow.
