Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a strongly aromatic and decorative herb, especially used for seasoning meat, vegetable and potato dishes. Rosemary’s needle-like leaves can be used fresh or dried in cooking.

Sow the seeds indoors for pre-growing in March–April or directly in a seedbed from April to June. The seedlings can be planted in their final growing location later. Rosemary is sensitive to cold and wind, so it is often best moved indoors for winter, for example into a kitchen pot.
