Stevia – Natural Sweet Herb for Tea and Desserts

Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) is a sweet-tasting plant originally from tropical regions. Its leaves are known for their intense natural sweetness and can be used to add a sweet flavour to tea, desserts and drinks.

Sow the seeds early in spring for pre-growing at around 20 °C, or later in spring in a cool greenhouse. Prick out the seedlings once and plant them outdoors in early summer in a warm and sheltered location.
