Strawflower ‘Tom Thumb Mixed’ – Colourful Flowers for Drying

Strawflower ‘Tom Thumb Mixed’ (Xerochrysum bracteatum) is an easy-care and decorative summer flower, ideal for dried flowers and cut flowers. Its bright colours remain beautiful even after drying.

This low-growing variety, also known as everlasting flower, is well suited for flower borders, pots and garden edging. It flowers abundantly and brings long-lasting colour to the garden.

Strawflower is especially popular as a dried flower. Cut the flowers just before they fully open and dry them upside down in a dark, well-ventilated place.

Sow the seeds indoors for pre-growing in spring or directly outdoors into warm soil. Plant the seedlings outdoors in early summer after the risk of frost has passed.
